How we do it
Cause first, then matched brick
Failed brick gets cut out and replaced with matched units. Around St. Louis that often means reclaimed brick, which is how a repair blends into a 1960s wall instead of shouting at it. Step cracks over openings usually trace back to a rusted or undersized lintel, so the lintel gets reset before the brick goes back in.
Foundation faces get repointed and parged so water sheds instead of soaking. Where the problem is drainage or settlement rather than masonry, you hear that up front, not after the invoice.
